ABOUT Eight & Bob
Est. in: Paris, France, 1937
The history of the perfume house Eight & Bob is linked to the mythical figure of John F. Kennedy, or at least that is what its legend tells… It was the summer of 1937 when Albert Fouquet, a young Parisian with a passion for perfumes and who made scents in the family home, met an American student called John F. Kennedy, who was captivated by his olfactory creations. Kennedy asked Fouquet to send him eight perfume samples plus one for his friend Bob to the United States, hence the name of the brand, Eight & Bob. Fouquet's early death in 1939 and the Second World War slowed the brand's success in the following years, but the firm was revived in the early 2000s to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's death. Eight & Bob fragrances are the result of a meticulous manufacturing process using selected raw materials. The brand has a limited production of its scents, which makes them even more exclusive, and maintains the timeless classic style of its first creations.
